Q: When will the Manor open?
A: There is no confirmed opening date at present. CLECS is currently working towards completing remaining due diligence work for the site, including environmental assessment work, lot consolidation and rezoning of the site.
The current aim is to get the project shovel ready for construction while awaiting for funding opportunities from BCH, CMHC, or any other large funding partner to ensure CLECS can provide rents that support stable tenancies for seniors wishing to remain living in the Cowichan Lake area.
Q: How would someone apply for residency?
A: The application process will be made available at a future date.
Q: How much will the monthly rent be?
A: Amounts will be determined closer to construction completion. Nine units will be at market rates; fifteen units geared to applicant's income; six units provided a 'deep subsidy'.
Q: Will there be parking?
A: Yes, at least 19 spots on site and 12-14 nearby off site.

A: This facility provides independent living.
